Ibn Nemaye Hilli (Nama Hilli) (Arabic: محمد بن جعفر بن نَما) (567-645 AH) a great Shi’i scholar of the 6th and 7th centuries, was the author of Muthir al-Ahzan.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Najm al-Dīn Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar b. Hibat Allāh b. Namā al-Ḥillī (Arabic: نجم الدین جعفر بن محمد بن جعفر بن هبة الله بن نما الحلي) was born around 567 AH, in Helle near Furat river and he passed away around 645 AH in Najaf in Iraq. He is a great scholar of the 6th and 7th centuries. Allameh-Al-Helli was one of his students. His father, Najib al-Din Muhammad b. Ja'far b. Hibat Allah, was one of the greatest religious trainers and Imami scholar of fiqh of those eras.
