Harith b. Nabhan was martyred in the battle of Karbala.
His father, Nabhan was the slave of Hamza b. 'Abd al-Muttalib. He was a brave horseman who passed away two years after the martyrdom of Hamza.[1] He met the Prophet.[2] Harith was a companion of Imam Ali and Imam al-Hasan. In the uprising of Imam al-Hussain, he accompanied Imam to Karbala and was martyred in the first attack of the army of Umar b. Sa'd.[3]
He is different from Harith b. Nabhan al-Basri who was a hadith transmitter.[4]
