Sayyed Abd Al-Razzaq Al-Musawi Al-Muqarram was born in 1898 in Najaf. His father was most often in Itikaf in Mosque of [[Kufa]], and his mother was famous for reciting Quran. He grew up as he witnessed rawda ceremonies in his grandfather’s house and kept holding rawda sessions in in his own house when he became older. He has a lineage referring to Imam-al-Kazim, and a family of scholars, as a result of which he became a prominent figure in Shia studies, concentrating mainly on lives of Imams.

===Al-Muqarram’s Attitude and Lifestyle===

His religious writings, which are mostly the biographies of Ahl-al-Bayt, are not entirely published and some have remained as manuscripts. Among the published works, one can find mainly monographs, the most famous one of which is ''[[Maqtal]] al-Muqarram'' which concerns the event of [[Karbala]].
