Hossein Ansarian (1944- ) is a Usuli Twelver Shia Cleric in Iran.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Hossein Ansarian, born on 9 November 1944 in Khvansar, Iran, is a notable Shia Cleric living in Tehran. The paternal ancestors of Hossein hail from the famous ‘Haj Sheikh dynasty’ of Medina. Even now, this family has its importance in Khvansar. Anasrian’s mother is a Seyed. Hossein’s family migrated to Tehran when he was three years old.  He Studied at the Qom and Tehran seminaries under famous teachers, including Mirza Hashem Amoli, Sayyid Muhaqeq Damad,and Mohammad Fazel Lankarani. He Attended the class of the Shia scholar Ali Akbar Borhan in Tehran. He Founded the Scientific Research Center, Dar al-Irfan in Qom in the year 1998. He Translated, interpreted, explained, and added commentaries to the essential books of Shias, including The Holy Quran, The Nahj ul Balagah, Sahife Sajjadiya, Mafatih al-Jinan, Usul Kafi, Kamil al-Ziarat and many other books of Shia scholars such as Al-Khisal of Sheikh Sadooq
