Gholam Hassan Moharrami (born in 1968) is a writer, researcher and an assistant professor at the Institute of Culture and Social Studies.

Biography

Gholam Hassan Moharrami was born in a village near Tabriz. He immigrated to Rasht when he was twelve years old. At the age of eighteen, he went to Qom to become a religious scholar. He studied there for six years. After that, he participated in external classes of professors such as Ayatollah Subhani, Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani ,and Hashim Shahroodi for thirteen years. During his stay in Qom, he attended the Jurisprudence course of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Javad Tabrizi. Gholamreza Fayazi and Mir Sepah were his professors of philosophy; he also studied mysticism with Askari Gilani. For two years, on Thursday nights, he would learn the principles of faith from Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi and for four years, on holidays, he would learn Astronomy from Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli.

  • Worked as an Assistant Professor at Amirul Mo’mineen University in Ahvaz, Qom Seminary, Payame Noor University in Qom, and various other institutes
