Her vision towards Ashura[edit | edit source]

In one of Kathryn Spellman’s books, Ethnographies of Islam: Ritual performances and every day practices, she started the 4th chapter with this title: ”Manifestation of Ashura among young British Shi’is”. In this chapter, she describes the way that British Shi’is practice religious rituals of “Ashura” through public performances in British society.
