Abdollah desires a child in his old age, and God gives him a daughter whom he names Hende. Hende's beauty becomes famous and the cruel ruler wants to possess her, but Abdollah out for fear of enemy, gives his daughter to [[Imam Ali]] the first Imam of the [[Shi'ites]]. However, she falls into the hands of [[Yazid]] during an event. After a while the events of [[Karbala]] have happened, leading to the [[martyrdom]] of [[Imam Husayn]]. Haj Ali Sadeghipour (born in 1936) is a distinguished Morshed knowing all the techniques to the last detail for curtain-storytelling, having been taught by his father and beginning performing as a disciple of the Morshed (master).

Performance Method

One of the most important techniques which can be used in curtain storytelling is the Ma'rekeh (Juggler-displaying) speech. Learning from his father, Morshed Sadeghipour has much to offer in terms of ways of performing encomiums, prayer-reciting, sermons, singing Qazals (lyrical poems) and Chavoshikhani (Tiding-singing), which are kinds of religious rituals or Ma'arekeh performances.
