Farhad Daftary is the co-director and Head of department of Academic Research and Publications, Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS), London.

Dr. Farhan Daftary, born in 1938, is an Iranian writer and expert of Shia Studies, who currently lives in London, where he settled after visiting various places including Italy and United States for educational and research purposes.
