Abir Hamdar is an Associate Professor and lecturer in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University.

Her visions towards Karbala
In one of her journal articles “ We are all Hizbullah now, narrating the Party of God”, Abir Hamdar dedicated a part towards Karbala in terms of Hizbullah. She explained that the tragedy of Karbala, from start to the end, has a great impact on people who follow Hizbullah.
