Abul Qasem Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar b. Musa b. Masrur b. Qulawayh al-Qummi was a tenth century CE Shia jurist, known by the name Ibn Qulawah, famous for narrating Shia hadiths. Muhammad b Jafar al-Qummi, his father, was also one of the great Shia hadith narrators along with his brother. Ibn Qulawayh lived in Qom and travelled to many places including Egypt during his lifetime. Muhammad bin Yaqub al-Kulayni and Ibn Babawayh were among his teachers while Shaykh al-Mufid was one of his Students.
