Ziarat Janeb Hani ibn Urwa is a special prayer to be recited as the Zaeer enters the tomb of Hani ibn Urwa, who hosted Muslim ibn Aqil and was killed by the governor of Kufa, Obayd-Allah ibn Ziyad. == Tomb of Hani ibn Urwa == Hani ibn Urwa was buried near the Great Mosque of Kufa. Today his shrine is connected to the Mosque of Kufa and is to the north of the grave of Muslim b. 'Aqil. The Shiʿis recommend visiting his grave in Kufa and reciting a special prayer in his honor. You were killed unjustly, may God curse your killers. I testify that you are a martyr and may Allah raise your soul in the company of the Prophet & of his progeny. And I testify that you did your best to support the cause of God and that of His Prophet (saws) and that you have sacrificed your whole being for the sake of Allah and for the sake of His pleasure. May Allah have mercy on you. == Source == * Ziarat is Syria, As-Serat Tours, January 2005
