Ammar b. ==In the Battle of Karbala==
Prior to the [[Battle of Karbala]], he made an attempt to kill [[Obayd-Allah Ibn Ziad|Ibn Ziyad]] in Nukhayla camp near [[Kufa]], but he was not successful.
