Ruqad (Qarqa') al-Junnabi (al-Janibi)''' (Arabic: (زَید بن رُقاد (ورقاء) الجُنَّبی (الجَنِبی)) served as an archer in [[Omar Ibn Sa’d|Omar b. Sa'd]]'s army  in the Battle of [[Karbala]]. He participated in battles led to the [[martyrdom]] of [[Abbas B. ʿAli B. Abu Taleb|Abbas b. Ali]] and [[Suwayd b. 'Amr al-Khath'ami|Suwayd b. 'Amr b. Abi Muta']]. According to some sources, he was also responsible for killing 'Abd Allah b. Muslim. In the Uprising of [[al-Mukhtar]], he was finally shot by 'Abd Allah b. Kamil's soldiers with arrows, and then his half-alive corpse was burned.
